Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

Perfect for breakfast or as an appetizer, these super easy (and crazy addictive) sausage cream cheese crescents are a must-make!

Try making these w pimento cheese and use maple sausage instead of hot and garlic cheese bisquick, amazing!!!!!!

These are so wonderful. I also add some cheese and sautéed peppers and onions. You can also use flaky canned biscuits and make them look like little hand pies. With the crescent rolls you can make them look like pinwheels since the crescent roll dough is in a flat sheet.

Fix these all the time for church and for Scott and Luke. You don’t have to fix it all at one time either store it for up to a week and make them fresh each time.

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cook Time: 20-25 minutes | Servings: 8

Ingredients:

1 lb. Ground sausage (breakfast, Italian or other)

1 C. Shredded cheese of choice

8 oz. Cream cheese softened

2 Cans refrigerated crescent rolls

Pepper to taste

How to make Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents:

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2. Roll the crescent rolls out flat, and cut each triangle in half lengthwise.

Step 3. Cook the ground sausage until it is completely browned.

Step 4. Add the cooled ground sausage to a mixing bowl with the cream cheese and shredded cheese of your choosing as well as pepper to taste. Stir to combine completely.

a.

b.

Step 5. Spoon a small ball of the sausage mixture into the top of each piece of crescent roll where it is fattest.

Step 6. Starting at the widest end, roll the crescent roll dough over the sausage filling forming a mini stuffed crescent roll.

Step 7. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

Enjoy!

SIDE DISH

Broccoli Cheddar Stuffed Potatoes

Are you looking for something different? Besides that typical chicken dinner or lasagna?

You need to try this delicious and simple recipe!

Hearty russet potatoes with a mix of herbs and spices that will set your pallet a blaze.

Ingredients:

4 medium russet potatoes, well rinsed and dried

1 teaspoon of olive oil

3 tablespoons of salted butter

½ cup fat-free Greek Yogurt

3 tablespoons buttermilk

½ teaspoon of himilayian pink salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

¾ teaspoon chives

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoons dried onion flakes

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon dried dill

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

1 ½ cups cooked broccoli, finely chopped

1 cup colby jack shredded cheese, divided

How to make Broccoli Cheddar Stuffed Potatoes:

Step 1. Set your oven temperature to 400 degrees

Step 2. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and set it to the side. Thoroughly rinse off your potatoes with cold water. Next, you are ready to start cooking!

Step 3. Place the potatoes in a small baking dish and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until tender. Remove from the oven and place on the counter to cool. Once potatoes are cold enough to handle, cut them in half lengthwise.

Step 6. Add the butter to the potato pulp and mash them until you get a pretty smooth mashed potato consistency.  Once that is complete then start adding in your other ingredients. Add the Greek yogurt, buttermilk, pepper, himilayian pink salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chives, dried onion flakes, dill, smoked paprika, broccoli, and ¾ cup of the cheese.

Step 7. After mixing all ingredients together you should have a thick filling. Spread your filling evenly over the potato skins and cover with the remaining colby jack cheese.

You are almost there!

Step 8. Bake them for 20-25 minutes or until all the cheese on top is melted through.
